We’re sponsoring the Frodsham Downhill Run

On Sunday 2nd of July, the annual Frodsham Downhill run will take place. Woodhouse is the principal sponsor of the race this year so we're excited for what the day will bring. Following the usual route, the 1.3-mile fun run promises to be a fun day for the whole family which is not to be missed. With the event already sold out, we're hoping it will be a great day for all the athletes and supporters taking part on the day.

The Frodsham Downhill Run will follow the usual route from the top of the hill to Castle Park and Forest Hills Leisure Club has kindly offered to help the runners warm up before they start the race.
Rotary in Frodsham & Helsby will welcome the runners and onlookers at the finish with their annual Festival in the Park.

All ages and abilities are welcome to take part in the Frodsham Downhill Run but if you are unable to run this year and would still like to be involved, the event needs lots of enthusiastic non-runners to help run it and make sure it all goes smoothly!

Do you think you could help marshal the route, hand out T-shirts, cheer on the finishers or hand out certificates to participating racers?

If you would like to help in any way or just want to be involved on the day, please get in touch with Frodsham Community Centre by telephone or email. You can also contact them through their Facebook page /Frodsham Community Centre.

Why did we decide to sponsor the event?

Managing Director Rory Woodhouse says “The event has always been a great event, by all accounts. We’re always on the look-out for events we can help and be a part of, we believe in giving back to our local community and the Frodsham downhill race is one of those of events. Good luck to all those taking part!”

Project Spotlight

Project Spotlight

It has been a pleasure for the team to work on this project. When Sheila purchased the property, it was taken back to brick and has undergone a full refurbishment. We have really enjoyed being a part of the project and helped turn it back into what is now, a stunning home.

Electrical

Our team have completed a full rewire of the property, ensuring everything is up to current standards and is safe. All of our work is carried out by one of our NIC-EIC registered engineers. As you can see from the images, we’ve had the privilege of installing some very interesting light fittings, giving the house a warm and contemporary look.

Bathrooms

Our team installed a bathroom and an en-suite in the property. Both bathrooms have been designed, supplied and installed by ourselves. During t§he initial planning stage, we made sure the time was spent with Sheila to ensure the design achieved exactly what she wanted. We especially like the freestanding bath and floor mounted tap in the en-suite.

Heating

The property now benefits from a brand new central heating system with an A rated Worcester Bosch central heating boiler, working at over 90% efficiency. The heat output was calculated for each room, ensuring the correct size radiators were installed. We have also managed to install the radiators in such a way, that no pipework is on show. Ensuring the central heating boiler could deal with the demand of two large showers.

As you can see from the images, the house looks stunning

We are more than happy to help with design, supply and install, should you have any similar requirements in your home. Please follow our Facebook and Instagram to keep up to date on our current projects or get in touch with us for more information.
